The world requires leaders who grasp international concerns and can communicate effectively across different cultures. We collaborate with government bodies, universities, and corporations worldwide to craft programs tailored for students, professionals, and emerging leaders.
Drawing on Global Training and Development Institute's expertise since the 1960s, we offer customized programs that:
Enhance leadership abilities;
Deepen understanding and expertise;
Cultivate professional networks;
Enhance communication skills, and;
Broaden perspectives as global citizens
The Global Training & Development Institute facilitates international student mobility through the coordination of non-degree programs for international students from select participating institutions around the world. Programs can be custom-made to suit the interests and needs of students.
The final admission decision is made by the University of Connecticut. All international non-degree students must meet a program-dependent criteria and abide by guidelines set forth. Undergraduate International Non-Degree Programs
In this program, referred undergraduate students from participating institutions apply to UConn as non-degree students for their third (junior) year or fourth (senior) year of undergraduate study, depending on the agreement with the partner institution. Students' UConn courses are transferred back to their home institution following completion of the academic year, and the degree is awarded from their home institution. Students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Students must contact the coordinating representative at their home university to obtain access to the online application provided by the Global Training & Development Institute (GTDI).
Institutions interested in participating in such programs should contact gtdi@uconn.edu
