Nexus 3.0 Entrepreneurship Empowerment Program (NEEP)
Global Training and Development Institute (GTDI) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) will host the Nexus 3.0 Entrepreneurship Empowerment Program funded by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India at the U.S. Department of State. In an effort to create more dynamic, competitive environment that reduces the push factors for emigration while attracting skilled workforce to remain and contribute to the economic development of India, all activities of the program will take place in India under Nexus and University of Connecticut supervision. NEEP will foster entrepreneurial skills and create a supportive ecosystem to empower Indian entrepreneurs and startups, stimulate economic growth, job creation, and community resilience. The goal is to respond to the ever-changing economic landscape and the need for sustainable community development while promoting the cultural and economic relationships between the US and India.
Some highlights of the NEEP program will include
- Equipping Indian entrepreneurs with essential skills through tailored training programs.
- Providing mentorship support to guide Indian entrepreneurs in navigating the challenges of business development.
- Facilitating networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the entrepreneurial community.
- Enhancing access to resources, including capital and technology, to catalyze sustainable business growth.
