Pongpanott Deekong or "Amp" is a Founder of Leeway, an initiative that promotes the importance of play to children. Since young, he has been passionate about education and children, and believes that the best way for children to learn is by "playing". "Playing" must be a basic need that every child should have in the world of technology disruption. Prior, Amp worked as a Program Associate for Ashoka: Innovator for the Public (Thailand) for two years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (major in International Relations) from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan.
Five-Year Project Goals:
- To create the movement of "Learn through Play" in Thailand and expect more than 10 partners

Leeway is an initiative that promotes the importance of play to children by providing useful research knowledge, statistics through online content, and holding “Learning through play” workshop for parents to raise awareness and provide tools to design “play activities” that best for their children’s development.
Amp, the founder, through the support of YSEALI and he developed essential knowledge and skills to fulfill his dream to become a social entrepreneur. Later, he created a pilot project funded by the university (UConn) to provide play-based activities for children and workshops for parents, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of play. Later it developed to become Leeway.
Now, Leeway has a community of 25,000 parents who play an active role in spreading awareness of the “Learn Through Play” concept. Recently, Leeway was invited by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Thailand to represent as a social sector to share some knowledge and insights on Family and Children issues in Thailand to help regulating the future of Family Policy in Thailand.
