Organization Information: School of Seeds
School of Seeds aims to build a generation of creative, proactive, and socially responsible youth by reinforcing youth capacities through extracurricular educational programs. The organization plans workshops for young people focusing on communication skills, becoming a proactive individual, and educational opportunities for growth. School of Seeds provides workshops for at-risk students who struggle with social integration, domestic violence, and parents with addiction. The organization schedules one workshop in an urban public school focusing on tolerance of others, self-confidence, effective communication, active listening, time management, leadership skills, and SMART goals. Based on feedback from the first initial workshop, School of Seeds identifies several main issues unique to the population of students and then plans follow-up workshops to address specific issues.
