Working in a university provided Thao with many opportunities to speak with students about problems they were encountering. Three of the main reasons why most students struggled getting a job post-graduation were that they lacked information about the labor market, lacked working experience and did not have a sufficient plan to reach future goals. As a result, university students were unprepared after graduation and many chose the wrong career. In order to assist students in this regard, Thao created My Work Diary.
Five-Year Project Goals:
- Collaborate with at least 3 universities to build career road maps
- Collaborate with at least 15 professionals working in different fields
- Partner with 10 of the most accessed sites for job consultancy and job orientation in Vietnam
- Expand My Work Diary to become an internationally recognized organization
Organization Information: My Work Diary
My Work Diary attempts to provide road maps for popular careers, which can help guide university students when selecting a career and it also offers an online forum for professionals to share experiences or tell others about their daily work life.
