Rim and Wiem hope to inspire Tunisian youth to start their own projects aimed at solving social issues by mentoring high school and university students and encouraging self-development. They are also passionate about helping families financially struggling to provide for their elementary school students. Rim and Wiem believe that they can improve the lives of students by encouraging them to become productive members of society and improve the conditions of schools to give students their best chance at a high quality education.

Five-Year Project Goals:

  • Promote a culture of leadership and civic engagement
  • Promote and invest in social entrepreneurship through trainings, competitions, and workshops for universities, clubs and high schools
  • Improve the conditions of poor schools so that students can learn in a safe and healthy environment
  • Invest more in the culture of dialogue as a solution for our conflicts

Organization Information: Youth for Change Club

Youth for Change Club introduces underprivileged high school and university students to civic engagement and social entrepreneurship by holding workshops to improve students’ interpersonal skills, communication skills while also encouraging the spirit of volunteerism. The Club also works to improve the poor conditions of schools so that the students are given better opportunities to learn. Youth for Change Club has helped over 25 poor families pay for their elementary-aged children to attend school by organizing fundraisers.
