Thanh started Slide Factory to meet a need in his community: students do not have access to design skills and struggle to apply design skills in school and in the workplace. To address this problem, Thanh produces free online videos to help students develop design skills. In order to fund the organization, companies can hire Slide Factory to create premium professional presentations, which transform traditional content into visually engaging presentations using different types of software. Thanh used UConn award funding to make viral YouTube videos and marketing Slide Factory's Facebook page resulting in over 17,000 followers.
Five-Year Project Goals:
- Create full online courses for design skills
