‘Safe Spaces for Youth’ was a pilot project for A-School, organized under YSEALI and UConn GTDI’s support. The workshop targeted middle school students in Thailand. The main objective was to nurture growth mindset for youth through a modern arts education, which is inspirational and affordable. Several lessons were taught by specialists in each field including visual arts, music, dance, and drama. The ultimate goal for the project is to see growth mindset developed from practicing arts impacting the students’ performance at school.
