Jamico Jamlang is a chemical engineering graduate of the University of the Philippines and is has a professional experience as a packaging executive of Multinational Food Manufacturing Company. He is now a full time social entrepreneur working on the issue of climate change, poverty and plastic pollution. He is a founder of two social enterprises - The Bamboo Company and Balay Qubo, in which both utilizes bamboo and the power of social media to leverage on the advocacy on helping the environment and helping other social enterprises.

The Bamboo Company is a social enterprise that aims to solve global issues such as climate change and plastic pollution through the use of bamboo. The project is about empowering local communities through bamboo production, by helping them increase their income while at the same time enabling the brand to establish a more human aspect of switching to a more eco-friendly lifestyle of using bamboo products.
